GEORGE & MONIQUEGlenbrae, Elgin
Ok I’m not even going to apologise for the amount of decor photos I’ve included in this post. I feel like I’m doing you favour actually! I think you’ll understand as you start scrolling. There were just so many incredible details to take in – I especially loved the pops of vibrant colour amongst all the tropical greenery! It was clear that it was put together with so much care and skill – Marinda & her team from Saffron deserve a standing ovation!
From there it was an overload of stunning elements that came together perfectly. Now you need to understand that George & Monique planned this whole wedding all the way from New Zealand so it really was incredible how it all fit together on the day. George and his gents were dressed in olive green and navy which complimented the girls’ tropical themed dresses beautifully. I also just need to mention that they had POCKETS! The girls were honestly just has excited as I was about this fact. Monique definitely has a way of looking at things and seeing their potential – she saw her dress and not only had it altered, she had it cut in two! The delicate lace top and elegant buttons finished it off perfectly.
It was a peaceful ceremony under the trees at Glenbrae as bride & groom became husband & wife. As the sun was going down we went for a walk around the dam and orchards, the golden rays highlighting the newlyweds’ kisses. Their love is gentle and deep and they were a joy to photograph.
That evening, after a few heartwarming speeches and a delicious meal, the dance floor was opened and stayed open well into the night!
George & Monique, thank you for including us in this spectacular celebration!
